Sogecable reduces to losses a 61.5%
Sogecable registered in the first trimester of this year losses of 17.9 million Euros, which supposes a reduction of the same of 61.5% with respect to the same period of 2004

According to the company to the National Commission has informed into the Market of Valores (CNMV), the income reached the 396.4 million Euros, between January and March of this year.

On the other hand, the gross result of operation (EBITDA) was placed in the 77.2 million Euros, against 63.6 million of the first trimester of 2004, which means an increase of 21.4%.

Sogecable, S.A., old Society de Televisión Canal Plus, S.A., was founded the 12 of April of 1989 with the aim of obtaining one of the three concessions of private television that the Government removed to contest in 1988. The 8 of June of 1990 Canal+ began their emissions in tests and the 14 of September of that same year began their regular emissions.
