Digital+ will transmit for the first time in high resolution
The platform will transmit the days 16 and 17 of June for the first time some of its programs using the system of high resolution television, through System of Astra Satellites

Digital+ will transmit a selection of its programs (among them Lo+ extra, the Guiñoles, the hour Wiki or Código Cinema) as well as the documentary “Picasso and his wifves” through System of Astra Satellites, programming that will be emitted in direct in the Annual Finery of FENITEL (Federation of Installers of Telecommunications) that is celebrated day 16 and 17.

“Picasso and his wifves” are the second incursion of Sogecable in the system of the high resolution, after the film “Lucia and sex”. The documentary one, created by Produce+ and Planet D, draws up the erotic universe of the brilliant painter.

The television in high resolution is generalized like system of emission in countries like the United States and Japan, where it counts on tens of channels and million users. The high resolution images are formed by a greater line number and therefore of pixels, which improves the details, and the reality sensation. In order to receive high resolution emissions in tests a high resolution decoder is necessary, an antenna oriented to the Astra satellite and a high definition TV.

With this initiative, Sogecable, Astra and the quartering companies of telecommunications grouped in FENITEL, try to demonstrate their commitment with a new technology to watch.
