The operator of Hispasat satellites reduced in a 49% the attributed net benefit the past during year, up to 2.2 million Euros (366 million pesetas), after making an amortization of 2.9 million to adapt to the new international countable norms, according to informed the company yesterday. The company, presided over by Petra Mateos, hopes to finish this year with a net result of 4.1 million, which would suppose an advance of 85.1% with respect to the 2004, and a reduction of 5.5% against the 2003.
According to the accounts approved by the advice of administration of the Hispasat group, the total income of the society the past promoted year to 84.3 million Euros, which represents a fall of 9.3% with respect to the previous exercise. The game of income corresponding to the renting of space capacity descended 16.3%, up to 72.8 million Euros, due to the tendency to the loss in the prices. The gross result of operation was placed in 58,5 million Euros, 20.3% less.
Hispasat considers that the adaptation of its accounts to the new countable norm improves the faithful image of the patrimony and the financial situation of the group.
In the share capital of the operating group of satellites the groups are present Combines, Telefónica and Eutelsat, as well as the BBVA, EADS-CASA and Spanish public organizations like the National Institute of Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA), the State Society of Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) and the Center for Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI).
