Digital+ incorporates the channel Sci Fi, produced by NBC Universal
The channel dedicated to science fiction, that was born in the United States in 1992, will initiate its emissions in first fruit in the platform of Sogecable next the 1 of June

NBC Universal, one of the world-wide leaders of the entertainment, and Sogecable, leader of the pay television in Spain, has reached an agreement to distribute in Spain the channel Sci Fi, dedicated to science fiction. By virtue of this agreement, Digital+ will incorporate Sci Fi to its supply of entertainment channels, from the 1 of June, in dial 25 of the platform.

Sci Fi will include in its programming cinema and series with histories acclimated in the space and foreign of all the species, but also many other subgenera that include within science fiction in their ampler sense. The spectators will find trips in the time, superheroes and monsters, fantasy, mythology and phenomena paranormal as well as futurist scientific and technological experiments. Between the series he emphasizes Stargate Atlantis, unpublished in Spain and one of the landmarks of the sort in the North American television.

The stellar schedule of the programming will include other series that have still not been able to see in our country, like Tremors, and a selection of titles which they include all the variations of science fiction, from 7 days to American Gothic, happening through The Sentinel, Galactic Battlestar or Earth 2. In addition, there will be series of cult like the incredible Hulk or the most modern version of the invisible man.

With the company/signature in this agreement, Spain becomes the fifth tax exemption of the channel in the world. Sci Fi was born in 1992 in the USA, where it is in top 5 between the channels of cable and satellite. In 1995 it arrived at the United Kingdom, where at the moment it reachs 9 million homes. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland (where it was sent in 1993) and France (from 2005), Sci Fi reaps excellent results of hearing and it is between the most popular channels of his respective markets.
