Sogecable and the Servei de Telecomunicacions d'Andorra (STA) signs an agreement for the distribution of Digital+ in the Principality of Andorra on the part of the mentioned operator of telecommunications

STA has predicted to initiate in the second trimester of 2008 the commercialization of a package of “triple play” that includes an audio-visual supply based on the contents of Digital+, next to the services of telecommunications of access to call and Mbps broadband up to 100 of STA.

The audio-visual supply of STA payment will be complemented free of charge with the services of the TDT of Andorra, interactive contents in HD (Alta Definición) and services.

STA will use their network of optical fiber until the home (FTTH) for the distribution of the audio-visual services and of telecommunications. STA initiated in 2007 the unfolding of FTTH with the aim of reaching total cover in 2010. This infrastructure allows STA to offer broadband services of until 100Mbps.

This agreement will allow to enjoy the channels of Digital+ to all the clients paid to the optical fiber of STA. Digital+, is the audio-visual supply of payment leader in Spain that offers the channel exclusively premium Canal+ with the best contents of cinema and series of opening, sport and documentary events. The subscribers to Digital+ in Andorra will exclusively have access to all the parties of the Eurocopa that have been acquired by Sogecable.
