Extreme Digital+ only 15,000 subscribers in the last year
The platform via Spanish satellite closed the first trimester of the year with 2.080.000 clients, which has been supposing only 15,000 subscribers more than in March of past year and less than 85,000 than for two years

Not at all optimal data with respect to the number of subscribers that contrasts with the fact that Sogecable a net benefit of 16.3 million Euros obtained in first trimester of 2008, which supposes an amount thirteen times superior to 1.2 million gained in the same period of the last year, today informed the propietary company into Digital+, Canal+ and Four.

Also, Sogecable registered its greater quarterly invoicing, when surpassing for the first time the 500 million Euros as a result of the growth as much of the income of Digital+, until the 433.4 million Euros, like of those of Four, until 74.1 million.

The net result of operation (EBIT) reached 44.8 million Euros, which represents an increase of 92.7% with respect to 23.2 million obtained in the first trimester of 2007.

Digital+ returned to increase its base of subscribers, until reaching the 2.080.000 clients to date of 31 of March of 2008, whereas Four improved their data of hearing and obtained an average of 8.7% in March, surpassing 10% in commercial profiles.

At the end of the previous trimester, to 31 of December of 2007, the company had 2.065.000 clients, a growth of 15,000 subscribers, the same number from the past March, with the reservation that in this last period recovered the falls registered during the war of soccer. In March of 2006 Sogecable it had 1.985.000 subscribers, only 80,000 of difference with the registered ones at the moment.

In the present trimester, Sogecable will exclusively operate the rights of the Eurocopa de Fútbol and only the subscribers of Digital+ will be able to accede to all the parties of this competition and, for the first time, in high resolution, whereas Four are the unique operator whom it emits in open the encounter of greater interest.
