News Corp sells eight small chains of television
The company of Rupert Murdoch News Corp will sell eight television networks to the private organization Oak Hill Partners by about 1,100 million dollars (about 766 million Euros)

In this sense, News Corp has assured in an official notice that hoped to close the treatment in the third trimester of next year.

The sale of the filial chains of Fox in modest markets will leave to News Corp with 27 chains in great markets, including New York, Boston and Los Angeles.

The mass media group, that owns things among others New York Post, a majority participation of the service of television by BSkyB satellite and the movie study 20th Century Fox, recently closed an agreement of 5,600 million dollars to buy Dow Jones, the publisher of Wall Street Journal, like part of its plans to create a world-wide empire of the financial news.

The implied television networks in the operation are in the states of Ohio, Colorado, Carolina of the North, Missouri, Wisconsin, Utah and Alabama.
