Sebastián has answered this way in the Plenary meeting of the Congress to an interpellation of the deputy of ER-IU-ICV Joan Ridao on the fitting out and standardization of the emission of TV3 in the Valencian Community and the Channel reciprocity 9 in Catalonia.

Ridao has requested this information after closing last 9th for judicial order of a repeater of TV3 in the Valencian Community, and previously other two.

The minister of Industry has specified that the autonomous regions have the "necessary means" and it is up to them "to move card" not to the Central government, which "obligation is to respect the frame competencial currently" and not to invade the competitions of the autonomous regions.

In opinion of Ridao, "it is a question of a new attack against the freedom of expression and the free circulation of communication", at the time that it has pointed out that "appreciates certain will on the part of the Valencian mercadear Government with this situation to obtain more digital channels".

This way, it has added, the Valencian Executive makes use of this circumstance so that "the Catalan and Valencian language happens to be residual in the Valencian Community".

Ridao has asked Sebastián to tell to him how it is possible that "in full age of the technological revolution it is possible to see in any domicile the CNN and it is not possible to see TV3 in the Valencian Community".

The Industry holder has centred his answer on the starting of the TDT that "today is a reality more than tangible in Spain".

In this sense, he has said that "the television is a cultural element that in addition to uniting informative value, of entertainment and publication contains elements of social cohesion".

Sebastián's answer has been qualified by Ridao like "disappointing" and it has accused him of "washing his/her/its hands" in this question and has affirmed that "no technological, but political difficulty exists" because the necessary reciprocity agreement exists.

Finally, he has mentioned that the agreement that in due time they reached the Valencian and Catalan Community to allow TV3 her to see the Valencian ones in exchange for the fact that Channel 9 meets in Catalonia answers to an agreement and to a commitment between both governments that unfortunately today the Valencian government is jumping to the torera".

"To support the emission of TV3 in the Valencian Community serves to the government of the PP in Valencia to obtain something that perhaps of another form it would not obtain, the authorization of any frequencies to friendly televisions", it has added notes.
