The name of the same one alludes on September 1, 1969, date in which colonel Kadhafi demolished to the monarchy. The first experimental program of one of the wireless broadcasting stations of the company will be expressed in March, announced Abdel Salam the-Muchri, responsibly for '1/9'.

Al-Muchri added that also there are arrangements in march for the creation of a television network for satellite, which it will begin expressing in 2007.

During the first year, the leaders of the television network will be in 60 % Libyan, while 40 % will be foreign, he added.

We sign contracts with international publishing houses to assure the distribution in Libya of approximately 50 publications, he told to the-Muchri on having specified that between these the weekly Americans Newsweek are and Steal, the German Der Spiegel, the French newspaper Le Peels and some Arab magazines, which will not be censured, he assured.

The director of the governmental Center of studies of the Green Book, Abdalá Osman, affirmed for his part that the Foundation Kadhafi supports a law project to liberate the press, which approval is submitted at present to the popular committees.

The Green Book (a compendium of the ideological, political, economic and social thoughts of colonel Kadhafi) does not prohibit the presence of an independent press in Libya, pointed out Osman.

Seif Islam declared recently that the Libyan newspapers are false and that nobody reads them, therefore he asked to liberate to the mass media of the mastery of the State.

Nevertheless, Abdel Razzak to the-Daheche, the director of the association of the Lebanese press and editor-in-chief of the newspaper Al-Yamahiriya, declared his opposition to the publication of private newspapers, because it would limit the freedom of the mass media, which would be influenced by the (political) tendencies of his owners.

Mustafa Zaidi - 'guard' of the socialistic and populist ideology of the diet of Kadhafi in his quality of eminent figure of the Movement of the popular committees - also appeared against the private mass media because these can influence them.

Libya is provided with a state television network and those that they express by means of satellite: 9 9 99 TV, Africa Satellite Channel, To Jamahiryah Sat Channel, To Jamahiryah TV and Al The Nadi.
