The Premier has come to a multimillionaire agreement for the sale of his rights of television abroad. The contract, which does not include the quantity that the clubs already perceive for the transmissions in the United Kingdom and across Internet, is 625 million pounds sterling (approximately 950 million euros) and it includes the emission of the parties of the First English Division between the periods 2007 and 2010 in 208 countries.
The signature of this agreement supposes a big progress for the English teams. The winner of the next edition of the tournament will deposit 50 million pounds sterling (approximately 76 million euros) more than at present, while the last classified one will obtain 30 millions (approximately 46 million euros), the same that there received the current champion, the Chelsea.
The Premier is one of the most seen championships of the planet and it receives more income than any other league of soccer in the world. The countries that more they offered for these rights are in Middle East and in Asia.
