The investigations began immediately after the denunciations formulated by Digitalis + and the Entity of Management of Rights of the Audio-visual Producers (EGEDA).

The local television was managed fraudulently by a company that, across a local cable network, was expressing different audio-visual contents without being provided with the authorization of the legitimate holders of the rights of Intellectual property. The facilitated contents were obtained in an illicit way, descodificando the sign with digital recipients.


Between 15 and 40 euros a month

The television «pirate« was financed by means of the commercials that it was including in his programming. It was counting, also, with subscribers that he was receiving different quantities, which were ranging between the fifteen and forty euros, according to the type of contract.
