MTV Networks happens to be called Viacom Germany in Germany
The popular musical channel decides to change name on the German television market and from now on it will happen to be named Viacom Germany

The change obeys between other aspects to give a proper personalida to MTV inside a television market German characterized by the wide diffusion of channels openly, so much analogical as in the format DVB.

MTV de facto Germany is the only chain of the factory of Viacom that it expresses openly across the satellites Astra and Eutelsat Hot Bird. In Astra (19,2nd East) MHz can be received in the frequency 11.612-H, in analogical, and also in 11.973-V MHz (MR. 27500, FEC 3/4) in DVB.
