The trade unions have raised to the persons in charge of the British public group a final offer so that they leave these clippings, which integrate into a plan of saving of expenses impelled by general manager Mark Thompson.
The agreement has not been possible, therefore the National Union of Journalists has announced pressure measurements. They will begin possibly this February with a strike of 24 hours, as informs The Guardian.
The clippings politics was forged in 2005, when he announced to himself that one would do without 3.780 workers within a period of three years. With this measurement, the corporation tries to save 511 million euros a year.
The general manager of the chain, Mark Thompson, detailed then that would eliminate 420 positions in informative, 66 in sports, 150 in dramatic, infantile programs and of entertainment, 755 in regional, 58 in new means and 424 in other programs.
