Once the
Sirius 4 has already entered service producing in the orbital position of 5th East,
SES Astra reckons to relocate the old satellite
Sirius 2 in 23,5 ° East and the
Sirius 3
posiblmente in 21,6th East, although it is without confirming.
With the come into operation one of the
Sirius 4, this new satellite is major never constructed in Europe, therefore there has enough capacity for
tormar the relief of his two predecessors, as it has done, of the
Sirius 2 and of the
Sirius 3.
This new satellite covers as the previous ones the Northerly, Baltic regions, of Central Europe and of the East.
Sirius 4 is provided with two
transpondedores operating in band
KA and 52 in
KU.
