In 2009, to celebrate his 25 years, TV5Monde, thanks to his 54 million viewers of piled up weekly hearing, it goes more than to never head the squad of the international networks of television.

Reinforced by his new shareholders and by his new direction with the arrival of Alain de Pouzilhac to the presidency of the council of administration and of Marie-Christine Saragosse to the headquarter: TV5Monde it is in conditions to tackle new challenges!

On Monday, the 26th of January 2009 a new graphic image will be thrown. Realized by the agency Gédéon, it puts the accent in the world dimension, francófona and plural of the chain, in order to claim of the best way the identity of the values of the mark. A new slogan will accompany it: One peels, give peel, TV5Monde (s).

The volume of the subalumnus in 9 languages that are already practised will turn out to be increased in 50 %, allowing the hours of subtitled programming to come to a whole of 10.

The emission will go on progressively to the format 16:9, while the emission in Alta Definición (HD) is studied.

TV5MONDE is the second world television network. To approach moreover the leader, new contracts of linear diffusion have been signed in:-IPTV and ADSL (Orange France and his international branches, Free and, probably all the rest operators IPTV of France, and also NowTV in Hong Kong, Sonatel in Senegal, Telmes in Latin America and numerous operators in the whole world);

-P2P, for his distribution, for example, in Japan;

- Personal Mobile television, which the chain has just signed in Côte d'Ivoire.

Under the mark "TV5MONDE Bonus" the chain there is constituído a wide scale of new offers and services, be which be the way of select consumption:

- The programs of TV5MONDE will be available increasingly in any place, at all times, in any support: in the place tv5monde.com, in the mobile, and also in platforms as Joost, and soon YouTube (in February), Dailymotion (in March), and in numerous IPTV offers in the whole world. In the frame that includes both the television of 'catch-up' and the low video it demands, gratuíto or of payment, the movies will be accessible in association with the principal producers, distributors and exporters of movies francófono, as 1.500 documentary qualifications that are already proposed in Internet in the video library of the chain.
