Phone companhy Telecom, of capital for the most part Spanish, will invest in Colombia 83,4 million dollars (64,3 million euros) between 2007 and 2011 in satellite digital television, announced today the president of Telephone Colombia, Alfonso Gómez.
According to Gómez, the target is to manage this year 100.000 subscribers to this new service, that he was authorized recently by the Colombian authorities.
The service will begin to compete with other operators of whom they offer television for subscription in the country, although most of them do it for cable.
