Kudelski has announced that in 2006 it obtained a net profit for 138,5 million Francs (85,3 million euros), what represents more 59,8 % with regard to the previous exercise.

In the concrete case of the digital television, Kudelski, creator of Nagravisión, - one of the technologies most used in Europe to make the codifiers of digital television, was overcome by it for the first time in 2006 500 million Francs (307 million euros) in income, more 17 % with regard to 2005.

The system of conditional access Nagravisión is the one that several platforms of satellite payment use at present in Europe as it is the case of the Digital Spaniard +, the Portuguese TV End or the German Premiere, between others.


Global income

The company indicates that his global income was reached by 694,34 million Francs (427,6 million euros, 8,5 % more than in the previous exercise, while the result of development (EBIT) grew 24 % until there managed 150,2 million Francs (92,5 million euros).

Of the whole of the registered invoicing, 61,8 million Francs (38 million euros) came from the sale of branches and other products of development.

The product of the sector of Public Access, which includes all the systems of control of access to real estate, stadiums or other sports facilities, registered a growth of 14 per cent.

As for the segment of new products, like the technologies for mobiles, the EPG (initials in English of Electronic Guide of Programs) for the digital television or the engravers of digital video, duplicated the income with regard to 2005 and the company hopes to double them again in 2007 and reach 60 million euros.

As a whole, the company hopes to invoice between 930 and 950 million Francs during 2007, what would suppose a rhythm of growth of two digits, and achieve an EBIT of between 110 and 125 million Francs.
