TCM will throw in France two new versions different from his chain

TCM Gold and TCM HD are the new channels that Turner Broadcasting System projects in the Gallic country in his target to realize different declinations of his chain star dedicated to the classic movies

TCM Gold would be dedicated to the diffusion of movies of the golden age of the seventh art, while TCM HD would be the option in high definition of the chain of TBS (Turner Broadcasting System).

As TCM, these two chains would be part of the offer of the French platform CanalSat.

The starting of these channels of TCM in France takes place after the starter in Spain and of the Digitalis hand + of Classic TCM. This chain centers on the full-lenght films produced between the thirties and ends of the sixties, what many critics have given in calling "the golden age of Hollywood".
