The French group Thales Alena Space will construct the satellite Owners 4 |
 Thales Alenia Space signs a cooperation agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) for the manufacture of the satellite of telecommunications Owners 4, which will locate in the orbital position of 4th West |
The quantity of the agreement has not been specified. This new contract reinforces the association between Thales and Alenia Space IAI, after the construction of the satellites Owners 1 and Owners 2 and the recent throwing of the Owners 3.
The division of Missiles and of the Space Systems of IAI will destine the operator SPACECOM, who will use it to increase his capacity in the bands of frequency Ku and Ka of the orbital position of 4th West.
The Owners 4 is foreseen that is put in orbit during the year 2012.
