Next July 27 there will be thrown on the part of the British public chain BBC a service of television à la carte that will allow to unload across Internet his programs of radio and television. The developed system, called iPlayer, will allow to the public to keep for thirty days the discharges in his computers, while and as soon as the file was opened with the program it will only be able turn for one week.

The viewers and listeners will be able to gain access free to the television and wireless programs expressed in the seven previous days and unload the episodes of his favorite series. Also, the BBC glides to extend in a future this service of discharges, which contains four hundred hours of weekly programming, to the mobile phones.

The chain, which AOL negotiates at present with the Internet portals MSN, telegraph.co.uk, Tiscali and MySpace so that they distribute his programs, pointed out that at the end of year the system iPlayer will be free also in YouTube.

The BBC has had to invest 131 million pounds sterling (more than 190.000 euros) in five years to extract forward his technological bet, that a beginning will only be free for the users of Microsoft. Although the BBC tried to be placed in advantage situation with regard to his private competitors, the broadcasting station Channel 4 went forward and last December it threw a new service in the Network to unload most of his programs.
