The study was realized across 11.739 telephone interviews (20 % for mobile) first between the days and twenty and fifth of the League and another 2.724 interviews throughout the first six o'clock of
Champions League.
The sample tries to complement the traditional information gathered by TNSofres by means of audímetros, with the testimony of the persons who consume payment television out of his houses and who, therefore, do not turn out to be reflected in the hearing inventories.
In particular, more than 3,9 million persons continued the first 25 parties of the league across television for payment, of which 2,5 did it in the bar and 1,4 in their own hearths. The TNS measurement nevertheless, only identifies 461.000 fans (12 % of the whole), according to the same study.
This situation happens in major measurement with the payment for vision (PPV), continued by 2,6 million spectators, of whom only 650.000 saw the soccer meetings in his house. The immense majority (almost eight of every ten) they went down to the bar to see the party.
In case of Channel + (the Sunday party at 21.00 hours) the tendency is invested, with a whole of 1,3 million spectators, of whom 762.000 continue the party in his houses (more than the half) and 566.999 in an establishment.
Sofres offers 35 % of the Sunday hearing
In any case, Sogecable warns that Sofres only identifies 461.000 spectators across his audímetros. In this sense, the persons in charge of this group warned in a presentation before representatives of the advertisers' sector that TNS only offers 35 per cent of the hearing of the Sunday party.
The director of Sports of Sogecable and Digitalis +, Carlos Martínez, put the example of the meeting of final phase of the 'Champion' that faced to Real Madrid and to the EXPERT Rome. As he said, from Sofres information, 1,7 million persons the party continued in Antenna 3, opposite to the 647.000 that did it in Channel +.
Of the same way the Chelsea-Barca of last year it was seen by 896.000 persons in channel TVE, opposite to the 675.000 that did it in Channel + to the return.
In any case, Sogecable supports that the payment television concentrates 57 % of the entire hearing of the soccer with more than four million and a half spectators of day. For his part, every day, Digitalis + assembles more than four million spectators, 50 % of the entire hearing of the soccer.
