It is a question of a satellite television of general, national and international information, and of broadcasting stations of local and thematic radioes, indicated the CSCA.
The advice reported that other projects for the creation of chains of television and private radio stations will be examined in a subsequent phase, to tenor of the available frequencies and of the fulfillment of the juridical and technical accident control measures necessary for his development.
The CSCA is an instance formed by nine members that he is in charge of regulating and granting the licenses for the investments deprived in the audio-visual sector.
According to the law, the king names five members of this instance and the prime minister to two, while the remaining two are designated by the presidents of two Chambers of the Parliament.
In addition to granting the development licenses, the CSCA is in charge of looking also over the respect from the whole audio-visual sector, so much public as deprived, of the legal dispositions included in a regulatory law.
This is the first time that there grant themselves licenses of development of chains and broadcasting stations deprived in Morocco, inside the new law approved in 2004 by the Moroccan Parliament to liberalize the audio-visual sector that, till then, had been a monopoly of the State.
