The throwing of the first satellite of communications belonging to Kazakhstan was postponed for June 18, reported today Askar Dzhumegaliyev, president of the Agency of Computer science and Communications of this central Asiatic republic.
'The KazSat will be thrown on June 18', said Dzhumegaliyev to the agency Interfax, without specifying the reasons of the postponement.
Initially, the throwing of the KazSat was foreseen for June 8 with help of a Russian rocket Protón-K from the Baikonur cosmodrome, that Russia hires Kazakhstan.
Made by the Russian consortium Jrúnichev, the KazSat, of 1.320 kilograms and valued for 100 million dollars, is a communications satellite with 12 transmitters of bands Ku.
