News Corp, the company of mass media controlled by Rupert Murdoch, multiplied by more than two his benefit in the first trimester of the year, up to 820 million dollars (644,6 million euros), after the sale of assets, the progress of the results of his Italian television for satellite, the networks of cable and the business of emission, informed the signature.

The company with head office in New York, proprietress of the network of emission Fox, the channel of news Fox and Australian newspapers and British, between other business, it invoiced 6.198 million dollars (4.872,8 million euros), what represents a progress of 2,5 % with regard to the sales of 6.043 million dollars (4.752,3 million euros) of the first three months of 2005.

Sky Italy generated an operating profit for 69 million dollars (54,2 million euros), which suppose a progress for 90 million dollars (70,7 million euros) with regard to the third trimester of the previous year, after the number of clients increased up to 3,7 millions. News Corp announced also that it will duplicate his program of repurchase of actions from 3.000 to 6.000 million dollars (2.358,4 to 4.716,9 million euros).
