Vivendi announced that it had 707 million euros of benefit, in the first trimester, with an increase of 41,1 % with regard to the same period of 2005, and checked to the rise his results perspectives for the horizon of 2011. The development result increased 10,9 % in absolute numbers (10,1 % to constant exchange rate) to 990 million euros and all the activities they obtained a positive development result although with confirmed evolutions, Vivendi stood out in a bulletin.

The subsidiary one audio-visual Channel + saw reduced at least of the half the result of development, which stayed in 33 million euros, opposite to 70 millions because of the costs of the new contract with the French league of soccer for the transmission of the parties, which came into force in the summer 2005, and for two supplementary league days with regard to the previous exercise.

Vivendi as a whole invoiced 4.766 million euros, 5,7 % top number in single payments to that of the first trimester of 2005, although in comparable terms the ascent was 4,7 %.

As for the perspectives for the period 2006-2011, the company now waits for an average growth of the result of development between 8 and 10 % per year and an exact clear result in 2011 of between 3.500 and 4.000 million euros, what would bear in mind the reabsorption by that time of the totality of the current ordinary fiscal postponements.

"Every business of the group should have an important growth of his activity and of his benefits", because "they are better placed that his competitors to extract party of the permanent growth of the consumption of services of communication impelled by the new technologies", it indicated.
