This second channel was already projected by the previous government of the Galician People's Party but it never gone so far as to be executed. The plan, in particular, was presenting a channel directed fundamentally to the young people, with informative, infantile spaces, cultural programs and of entertainment, always promoting the Galician audio-visual production.
TV Gallicia was one of the first autonomic chains that threw his satellite sign. At present there can be received openly in Europe across the satellites Astra (19,2nd East) and Hispasat (30th West).
