This number is equivalent to 2.795.000 hearths, and 16,5 % of the interrogated persons affirms to have the decoder integrated to his TV set, according to information that he publishes It Impels TDT in his monthly report

Quoting information of the General Study of Means (EGM), the current number of existing TV sets in the Spanish hearths is 30,4 millions, with which 11 %-3.344.000 - is already equipped to receive the TDT.

The information points out that in March, 2007, the number of sales was 310.000 TDT recipients, with what the piled up sales amount to 4,4 million recipients.

If we consider the sales of the TV sets with flat screen of March, 2007, the percentage of teams that incorporate tuner integrated TDT climbed in March up to 53,3 %.

Also, in this March a historical minimum registered, for the second month in a row, from 2003 in the sale of TV sets not adapted to the (analogical) TDT, with only 176.006 sold units.

The autonomous region with a major percentage of TV sets with aptitude to receive TDT is Catalonia, with their 15,1 % adapted, continue of Gallicia, Canaries and Madrid.

As for hearings, in relation to the previous month the TDT it grows two tenths and it is located in 5,9 % of the whole hearing of television in Spain.

The autonomous regions of Madrid, Canaries and Catalonia are located at the head of the territories with major consumption of TDT, with big difference of the rest and in case of the Community of Madrid, the screen quota reaches 10 %.
