With the change of one MR. from 27500 to one MR. of 30000 and one FEC of 5/6 obtains to gain a band of 10,368 Mbits/s, what allows to extend the number of channels for repeater or a better technical quality of the programs

In particular the transpondedores of the satellite Hispasat (30th West) affected by the change of Symbol Rate are that atañen to the frequencies 11.771-V MHz and 11.851-V MHz. Till now these repeaters were expressing under a Symbol Rate of 27500 and one FEC of 3/4. With the modification it passes of a Symbol Rate from 27500 to 30000.

Symbol Rate (MR.) is the speed generally explained in bauds per second (bps), of the signs multiplexadas transmitted in this satellite case in digital television.

Digitalis + was expressing until last year all his chains across Hispasat with a Symbol Rate of 27500, while the channels that there offers for the satellite Astra (19,2nd East) do it with one MR. of 22000 and one FEC of 5/6, a lot of lower after a minor band exists between the transpondedores of the above mentioned satellite.

Digitalis + expresses in the frequency 11.771-V MHz up to 10 channels. These are: Street 13, VH1 Europe, Méteo, Paramount Comedy, Cosmopolitan TV, People + Arts, to Travel, Hunts and Catches, Bloomberg TV and channel TVE 2, all of them codified under the system of conditional access Nagravision.

In another frequency affected by the change of MR., that of 11.851-V MHz, we find up to 9 channels: Channel +, Canal+2, Disney Channel, 40 TV, Mezzo, Sportmania, TV Deporte, Discovery and Docu channel TVE.

With these changes, already five are the transpondedores that Digitalis uses + affected in the last months with the change of Symbol Rate.
