According to several news about journalistic means, the Group Hurry has initiated the negotiations with the Mexican Carlos Slim Helú for the sale of Digitalis +, the satellite platform of payment of
Sogecable, which it overcomes in little two million subscribers, number that is suspended for time and that does not stop progressing if we concentrate on the subscribers' increasing increase of other European platforms, like Sky Digital,
CanalSat,
Premiere or
Sky Italy, between others.
The connection between Juan Luis Cebrián (manager of Hurry), Felipe González (ex-prime minister and adviser of
Slim), and the Mexican multimillionaire, is the key on which there curdles an operation in which
Slim would take also up to 20 % of the capital of the proper group Prisa.
Nevertheless, it is considered from the central Hurry head office in Madrid that the most probable candidate keeps on being a Phone companhy, which might turn out to be easier to fuse his service of digital television
Imagenio with Digitalis + to avoid the juridical obstacles of the authorities of the competition to him.
According to the same informations, the unexpected decision of Phone companhy to come to the
OPA of

Cotizalia, the operation would include the sale of the whole group Sogecable (Digitalis +, Channel + and thematic,
TDT, production and distribution of movies, buy and management of rights, publicity-Sogecable Average - and other business), with exclusion of Four, the television openly which good hearing results prop up his role as future audio-visual banner of the group.
Sogecable (excluded Four), would be valued for approximately 2.800 million euros, more 852 millions of clear debt.
