The gross result of development ONO'S (Ebitda) was located in 164 million euros to closing of March, what represents a growth of 10,6 % with regard to the first trimester of the previous year, with a margin of Ebitda of 40,9 %.
ONO'S income amounted to 400 million euros, in line with the fact of the previous year, in spite of 'the slowing down of the economy'. In particular, 75 % of the income came from the residential area, mints that 23 % generated in the corporate and wholesale business that, up to the Auna integration, scarcely 10 % was representing.
The company indicated that in the first trimester it supported his politics to reduce not profitable lines of business '', like the residential and corporate indirect access, proceeding from Auna. This way, the income of the business of residential indirect access fell down between January and March 37,4 %, up to 6 million euros.
On the other hand, the cable operator bet for keeping on developing his central business, so that the residential business of direct access grew 4,7 %, up to 300 million euros. The average revenue for client increased a 1,2 % in the trimester, up to 52 euros.
The company at that Eugenio Galdón presides closed the trimester with 1,8 million residential clients, what is translated in an increase of 3,5 % with regard to the same period of 2007, and reached 604.000 clients of 'triple play', that there supposes 32 % of his entire base of clients. Also, the platform of ONO'S television received 51.000 high ones until March.
