The Terrestrial Digital Television (TDT) is the "more feasible route" for the implantation of the high definition in Spain, affirms the assistant general director of Infrastructures and Technical Regulation of the State Department of Telecommunications, Ricardo Alvariño.
The forum "High definition HDTV", of the professional lounge 'Broadcast' - that is celebrated in Ifema of parallel form with the international fair of the technology Simo - has received a group of experts who exhibited his perspectives on the establishment of the television of high definition (HDTV) in the country, who coincided that the TDT will propitiate the emission of high quality.
In his intervention, the director of engineering of Hispasat, Inés Sanz, bet for the satellite as "future of the emission of HDTV", and coincided with Alvariño with that in Spain exists a "deficit of contents".
Sanz also said that 90 % of the digital television that is expressed "is not of high definition".
At present the satellite Hispasat expresses openly a channel in high definition. It is a question of the Hispasat AD that one can syntonize enla frequency 11.972-V MHz of the orbital position of 30th West. His transmission is under the format MPEG-4 therefore a special recipient is necessary already prepared to receive this type of sign.
For his part, one of the persons in charge of the department of new technologies HD of RTVE, Damián Ruiz, remembered that the public entity will express the next Olympic Games in high definition.
He affirmed that the future of the high definition happens for the decoders inclusion in the television devices to reproduce the transmissions compressed into format MPEG-3 ó 4.
During the conference, the experts reported that to create a channel that it expresses in high definition at present does not represent an excessively high cost as regards the traditional ones, although yes it bears, pointed, a different process in the work of the personnel and the way of transmitting.
