Three different satellites allow to see the French TDT openly
It is a question of Eutelsat Hot Bird (13th East), Eutelsat W3A (7th East) and Atlantic Bird 3 (5th West), which express several channels of the offer of the Gallic terrestrial digital TV, like TF1, France 2, France 3 or M6, between others

In the French case it is possible to see the totality of the channels TDT (TNT in France) that they express at present in the Gallic country. Nevertheless, a problem exists as it is the fact that these channels are distributed between several satellites, for what one is necessary several satellite dishes exchanged by means of Disecq or an engine. The channels that we can receive openly of the French TDT are these:

France 2, France 3 and France 4 (French public televisions in terrestrial version). They express across the satellite Atlantic Bird 3 (5th West), in DVB (MPEG-2). In the same satellite also there are received the private roads M6 and TF1, although under the analogical system (PAL). The chain M6 but in his Swiss version also we find it openly in the satellite Eutelsat W3A (7th East) in digitalis, DVB (MPEG-2).

Direct 8, NT1, NRJ12, LCP, BFM TV, Europe 2 TV and Gulli, they can receive all across Eutelsat Hot Bird (13 ºEste) in digitalis.

Other accessible chains of the French TDT openly are a TMC and Art. In case of TMC to receive in digitalis across Atlantic Bird 3, the same satellite where France Télévisions is received. In case of Art it is visible across Astra (19,2nd East), Eutelsat Hot Bird (13th East) and Atlantic Bird 3 (5th West).
