The principal Antenna shareholder 3 TV assures not to be satisfied with the information of hearing of the chain of television Antenna 3 but he adds that it kept on supporting his managing team.
"I cannot say that I am satisfied, we are not even satisfied because we have a descent of the audiciencia (...) but we will keep on working and will keep on supporting the managing team", said José Manuel Lara, in a forum in Madrid.
Lara is the president of the publishing group Planet that, together with his Italian associate Agostini, 43,5 % of Antenna controls 3 TV.
The Antenna hearing 3 TV has suffered a constant dripping of his hearing in the last months and foresees to close the year with a quota of screen of 17,5-18 %, below the initial target of 19 %.
Delay of the digital television
On the other hand, Lara proved to be a pessimist on the viability and the period of implantation of the terrestrial digital television in Spain.
According to the government plans, the "analogical blackout" would take place at the beginning of 2010, but Lara said that Spain has accumulated a big delay in this technological change that will allow a multiplication of the television offer and the arrival of new channels.
"It is possible that the same happens to us as with the BIRD to Barcelona", said Lara in reference to the postponement of the date of opening of the line of train of high speed Madrid - Barcelona. "I am not optimistic", he added.
Lara added that with the implementation of the digital television there will be in cities like Barcelona up to 55 channels opposite to the dozen of national, regional and local channels at present.
