The American chain of news will open a new center in the United Arab Emirates and will install a unit of digital production in London, conceived like a new gravitational axis of his news machinery.
The strategy meditates extending the digital services and turning to the head office of London in a world epicenter of reception and distribution of information for digital route.
The digital team will work jointly with the television operation and he will be a person in charge of facilitating the content that will be expressed by TV and also by networks of cellular telephony.
CNN will be provided with additional personnel in his different head offices: he foresees to increase his correspondents' network in Johannesburgo, London, Istanbul and Mexico City. Also also it will increase staff in Peking, Jakarta, Pakistan and the regional center that it has in Hong Kong.
For the chain, Asia is a crucial strategic target and it will increase then his journalistic operations in Afghanistan, Belgium, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, the Philippines, Poland and Vietnam. CNN in Spanish also will increase his publishing team in Atlanta.
"These new resources will have an enormous impact in all the networks and platforms of CNN", it pointed out by means of a bulletin, Tony Maddox, executive vice-president of International CNN. "This multimillionaire investment in personnel and resources will impel our quality (...) journalism and will give us the power necessary to move with major rapidity in the development of new models of business", added Maddox.
