The payment experience for vision uses the technology KeyFly, developed by Sidsa and that is already used, between others, for To Jazeera Sports TV in his transmissions in pay-per-view and for RTVE in contribution for international emission.

His developers say that it is reinforced against the piracy because it includes in a physical chip an armored key, which gets connected to the decoder TDT and "he prevents the hackers from being able to identify the codes since these never travel round the waves but they reside, literally recorded to fire, in the heart of this chip".

Siemens is the person in charge of the decoders of this experience. There has distributed already half a million units of his devices tuners, many of them with a hard disk (also known like PVR or Personal Video Recorder) that allows to gain access to the television à la carte thanks to programming guides.

Sergio Talarewitz, of Siemens Home, affirms that the PVRs “todavía market has to exploit ” since the public “gran does not perceive the benefits yet of paying a price more raised to gain access to a series of advantages that contribute a big extra cost. Anyway, with the throwing that the operators realize, this market will grow enormously in 2008 ”.

On having provided to the devices tuners of the possibility of recording, the door is opened for the polemic with the societies of management of rights. The person in charge of Siemens makes sure that his devices fit definitely to the legality and prefers not to declare itself on the possibility that this type of devices has to pay a canon in the future. Yes he tells that these “equipos do not allow to use the contents out of the device, they can only meet in the PVR and with the TV, apart from the fact that they are recorded on a hard disk ”.
