Deutsches Anleger Fernsehen
(DAF) is a thematic channel with a programming dedicated to the diffusion of news on the investment and the financial world, with what
Europe or
Bloomberg TV will compete straight with other chains of the same characteristics, like
CNBC, between others.
DAF will be integrated to the bundle of the platform of
Astra (APS). It has his head office in the
Unterföhring locality, close to Munich, where from there will be realized the
uplink, the increase of the sign to the satellite.
The general manager of
DAF, Peter Rampp, has shown that "we are much satisfied of being able to express across
Astra because we can reach a hearing of 8,87 million hearths in Germany, prepared to be able to receive our sign".
In fact, the channel was thrown in August, 2006 across Internet
(IPTV) and after the success of hearing reached now his persons in charge have decided to throw themselves by means of satellite with the permission of the German regulatory authorities on the subject of television.
