In all the cases, the Audio-visual Council of Andalusia (CAA) communicates to the operators that it is a question of serious infractions of the regulation, for which sanctions are foreseen with fines of up to 300.000 euros.

Carmen Fernández Morillo, member of the Audio-visual Council of Andalusia, tells that they have begun opening records after realizing general and particular warnings on the most frequent infractions and announcing in writing the intention of the Council of exercising his power sancionadora, especially when it is a question of protecting the rights of the infancy.

All the records opened till now were alluding to programs and publicity expressed between the 6.00 and 22.00 hours and capable of harming the physical, mental or moral development of the minors.

In all the cases, the Advice has initiated a procedure of previous information so that the affected operators realize the opportune allegations.


Regulation for Andalusia

Fernández Firedog has announced that the intention of the Advice is to encourage the self-regulation, but without resigning that respect the norms, especially when it is a question of protecting the minors.
