The change comes in a moment in the Commission of the Market of the Telecommunications
(CMT) has just authorized the company to distribute the services of his new network of
FTTH, on the condition that it is allowed to other competitors of an effective way to install their own infrastructure.
Initially, the Spanish regulator of the telecommunications prohibited Phone companhy the development of the services of his network
FTTH. Now, the
CMT has raised this obligation on the condition that the company shares information about the physical disposition of the network and in turn it proceeds with the access requests other operators.
Phone companhy has at present in his new network of
FTTH of 54.000 clients in Madrid and Barcelona with the target to reach the 100.000 at the end of year.
Apart from the
HD services, Phone companhy is developing a new system for the distribution of contents
VOD (low video demands) in 3D across his service of
IPTV Imagenio, which is provided at present with almost 600.000 clients.
All the clients who have the Trio employed Future 10 ó 30 Mb have a decoder prepared to express in
HD. The client only needs a compatible TV set to enjoy the contents.
At the moment, there is free the channel
AXN HD. The operator will incorporate progressively more channels into the new service.
