The Council of the Commission of the Market of the Telecommunications has decided to grant to Goal Television, the channel of soccer of payment of the producer Mediapro, an administrative authorization to spread digital television for satellite.

As has informed the CMT the agreement it was adopted last October 16 and he answers to the writing presented on August 29 of this year on the part of Jaume Roures, president of Mediapro.

In the above mentioned writing Roures it was requesting the service of diffusion of Goal TV for satellite.

In his resolution, the CMT points out that Goal TV will express across the satellite Hispasat 1D and that the authorization will have a duration of five years from the adopted resolution last October 16.

In turn it points out that Goal TV will have to fulfill the arranged in the national and community legislation on the subject of intellectual property and his programming submitted to the arranged in the law for which the board joins to the Spanish juridical arranging on coordination of legal, regulatory and administrative dispositions of the Member states relative to the exercise of activities of television broadcasting.

Goal TV, the channel of soccer of payment announced by the producer Mediapro, begun to be seen last September 20 and 21 by the operators of cable Orange, Euskaltel and Telecable.
