The operative result increased to 699,9 million euros (6,8 %) and the invoicing grew up to 2.077 millions (4,2 %), reported the company in a bulletin.

The clear financial indebtedness of the group progressed up to 760,8 million euros on June 30 of this year, while it was 568,3 millions to December 31 of the past, owed "principally for the dividends distribution", both of the group and of the controlled Spaniard Telecinco, for a whole of 644,6 millions.

The group pointed out that from the next semester the movies producer will consolidate completely inside Mediaset Jellyfish, in addition to the participation of 33,3 % that it has in the consortium that the producer of television Endemol controls.

Mediaset thinks that both procurement, realized this year, "should not have a significant impact in the consolidated results of the current exercise".

As for the activities of Italy, the net profit was 234,7 million euros, what supposes a 1,8 % less than in the first semester of last year.

In Spain, Gestevisión Telecinco achieved a net profit for 211,58 million euros in the first semester of 2007, an increase of 13,5 %, pointed out Mediaset, that he remembers the results already published in Spain.
