It is a question of the results obtained after a few tests realized in the program Discovery HD Theather where the channel exhibited the documentary Planet Earth (Planet earth), which had an enormous success of the public who continued it.
According to Discovery Communications, a monitoring is carried out, second to second, of the program to know the reaction of the viewers and of the advertisers. The test stated that the high resolution of the announcements was very attractive on the part of the public.
Nevertheless and since negative aspect is that these advertizing espots in high definition are more expensive than those of low resolution. To this it is necessary to add the fact that the channels with the format HDTV are scarce and for the time being the advertisers destine his games for this end for the channels that are not in high definition.
