The president of the European spatial consortium Arianespace, Jean-Yves Le Gall, signed a contract for the throwing of a Japanese satellite of telecommunications with the president of the operator JSAT Corporation, Kiyoshi Isozaki.
The JCSAT-12, which must be constructed by the American company Lockheed Martin in Pennsylvania, will offer services of telecommunications for Japan, the region Asia - Pacific Ocean and Hawaii during a useful life of a two weeks of years, and will be used like reservation satellite in the JSAT fleet.
The current contract is the seventh one that this operator has granted to the European spatial consortium, which has gained in whole 24 in Japan.
Gall showed his satisfaction for "there served again such a faithful and prestigious client as JSAT Corporation. The election of the first French operator for the putting in orbit of a satellite is for us a mark of extreme confidence and the recognition of the quality and of the excellence of the offer" of Arianespace.
