The chain foresees to extend at the end of year this channel to other countries of Europe between which there are Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Portugal, the United Kingdom. Also, in Latin America Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela also will be provided most likely with this system in December, 2008.
MTVN-HD will be operated by the Group of Emergent Markets of MTVNI, which will produce and express the channel 24 hours a day from his base of Warsaw. This new channel will rest also on productions of MTV of the South of Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America.

MTVN-HD will express nearly 300 hours of music, as well as new "contents premium". The programming, which will extend 24 hours of the day and in English, will begin at 12 p.m. (schedule CET) with the video of 30 Seconds to Mars 'To Beautiful Lie'.
This channel will offer unpublished spaces along with ancient programs of the MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon. This way, 'MTV Unplugged', 'VH1 Storytellers', 'Bob Esponja' or 'Jimmy Neutron' will continue in the new channel of high definition.
Also, the chain has acquired diverse spaces destined for the high definition as live concerts of Eric Clapton, Matchbox Twenty, Nickelback or Meatloaf.
MTVN-HD will be presented by MTV faces as the vj Francisco Ortiz or the newly arrived person Amy Perfect, a young Briton selected between thousands of applicants of the whole world.
According to the president of International MTV, Robert Bakish, the entry in this system "was a natural step" in the growth of the company.
The forecasts of the chain place to nearly 100 million hearths in Europe with television of payment, of which 4,4 millions use high definition. Nevertheless, Bakish trusted in an increase of this number, on having talked each other of the "first days" of this system.
