The Valencian Community has at present a múltiplex of Terrestrial Digital Television (TDT). Four programs (channels) that occupy Channel 9, Punt2 and two private televisions. Shortly, the Valencian Government will develop a second múltiplex - set of four channels inside the same frequency - already approved by the Department of Industry. It will be the space for which it will express the news channel 24 hours that the Consell tries to implant in TVV, as made sure the first vice-president and spokesman, Vicente Rambla.
A programming will offer in the style of the Channel 24 hours of RTVE or 3/24 of TV3, model based on news, reportages and interviews that are expressed of uninterrupted form. But, also, the Consell has promised the Government to a third múltiplex, which is dependent on the signature of the decree and which will be assined to reciprocity agreements with neighboring communities, between them TV3.
In conclusion of the first plenary meeting of the Consell after the reshaping and to questions of the journalists, the spokesman, Vicente Rambla, it urged the Government of Spain to approve the third múltiplex that will allow "the real reciprocity" of the emission of TV3 in the Community and which the Department of Industry has already given the approval. This third múltiplex will be assined exclusive to the reciprocity agreements with public televisions of neighboring communities. At the moment, the Consell has already maintained contacts with Murcia and with Catalonia so that the televisions of these autonomies could turn in the Valencian Community, although in the future the reciprocity agreements might extend Castilla-La Mancha, Aragon or Balearics.
Boulevard affirmed that the institutional relations with Catalonia cross in a good moment and that the Consell is in expectation that the reciprocity with Catalonia "is real". At the moment the emission of the Catalan television in the Valencian Community is possible across the repeaters of Acció Cultural of the Country Valencia (ACPV). On Thursday, the president Camps announced that he had asked the agents of TVV for the preparation "of an informative program" of 24 hours "so that in the Community and in the world it should be known what is happening here".
